This afternoon when we needed to get some authentic VW Jetta engine sounds for a series of new radio ads, Crispin Porter + Bogusky Producer Joe DeVanon headed out back with Coupe Sound Designer Chris McNaughton and Producer Eric Singer to capture the sounds of a 2009 Jetta. Start, idle, rev, repeat. Not pictured here are the images of Joe racing up and down the parking lot with Chris running behind, mic in hand. No substitute for the real deal!
